After a horrible last month or two things seem to be slowly picking up again! Although I'm not keen on the days getting darker more early.. but anyway, the sun is shining this morning and there are about a million birds in the garden! Which always makes me happy :) and there are still loads of flowers and greenery!

A few exciting things happening work-wise at the minute, three new clients and SO much work to do! So I had better get on...

Hello!

Well I finally have a brand new website :) - here ... brilliantly designed by Dave Billing.
I also have a twitter account - here. Feel free to follow! (so I feel slightly less stupid tweeting to myself!)
Tomorrow I'm going down to the Fat Face head quarters to meet with one of the head designers, not sure if it will lead to anything or not but either way will be a great experience!
I'm currently preparing for an upcoming local illustration exhibition, some new work will be posted up soon...

This is the final image - but the background colour seems to change with each different computer i view it on! It's supposed to be a lemony colour with a hint of lime... but it was coming up bright green on some computers! So I've taken most of the green out of it... I've no idea what it will look like on your screen!

The laws i illustrated are:

A person may not cross state lines with a duck atop his head.

All bathtubs must have feet.

Red cars may not drive down Lake Street.

Every man in Brainerd, Minnesota is required by law to grow a beard.

I also illustrated:

Eagle Mountain, Minnesota's highest point.

The fact that the stapler was invented in Spring Valley.

The state insect: the Monarch butterfly.

The state fish: the Walleye.

The state flower: the Lady's slipper

The Tall Grasslands of the state.
